Mr. Robert Ouellet is available at the St. Agatha Town Office during the months of May - October on Friday mornings 8AM to 12 Noon, or by appointment at other times. Mr. Ouellet was appointed Code Enforcement Officer and Local Plumbing Inspector Feb. 1, 2002 and brings many years of experience in this field. He also serves the towns of Madawaska, Van Buren, Frenchville and Wallagrass in similar capacities.

The Town of St. Agatha is responsible for administering the Shoreland Zoning Ordinance. Any construction within 250 feet of St. Agatha's three lakes, (Long Lake, BrisCoulette or Bourgoin Lake) requires permitting. Or within 75 feet of any stream within town limits.

In addition the town administers a local building permit ordinance and oversees subdivision and site design plans as required by the State of Maine.

The Code Enforcement Office is also in charge of septic system permits and plumbing permits required by the State of Maine.
